Amazon employees entering the Coppell, Texas FTW6 break room are forced to see a big ol’ pride flag. It hangs prominently on the wall directly across from the entry corridor.

You can't miss it, and I guess that's the point.

For years we’ve had wokeness and DEI shoved down our throats by woke companies. Amazon is among the worst. The pride flag is just a symbol, what's worse is the discriminatory practices of creating so-called “affinity groups” for specific classes while leaving out others.

Where’s the Caucasians at Amazon Affinity Group? There isn't one because that would obviously be racist…creating a group for one culture or ethnic group.

The “glamazon” affinity groups is exactly what you assume. A group for people with gender dysphoria and/or just perverse sexual kinks they want the rest of the world to endorse. I’m thinking perhaps I’ll request the formation of a “Dull Heteros at Amazon” affinity group and see how long it takes HR to approve it.

How about the Christian Amazon Workers Affinity Group? Oops, can't have that! No religion in the workplace…

…UNLESS you happen to be a member of the Islamic faith. The Coppell FTW6 fulfillment center has a large section inside the warehouse behind massive drapes where the floor space is covered with prayer rugs for your daily obeisance to Mecca.

I haven't found the Christian Chapel room, Jewish Temple room, or Bible meditation section yet, and the area managers say they don't think there are any.

My first two days at Amazon were spent in a classroom under training led by a morbidly obese woman wearing cut off sweat pants and a “Don’t Mess with Trans Kids” t-shirt. I assume she's in multiple affinity groups and may even be the leader of the Body Positive Peers Affinity Group.

Being a plainly dressed dude without a man bun walking into the Amazon facility is often akin to entering a Rocky Horror Picture Show dress rehearsal. Or walking through Manhattan wearing a MAGA hat. You feel like you’re the oddball.

Everyone is diverse, it's just that some people are more diverse than others, and at Amazon, the more outrageous you are the more perks they give you.

Amazon will soon discover that its $19 per hour jobs will become harder to fill as a new economy blossoms and many of its workers who've had their fill of celebrating wokeness leave for better opportunities and workplaces that are friendly and comfortable to all without a manufactured DEI class system.

Perhaps its corporate leaders will see the writing on the wall, but I’m betting it's already too late.

Amazon isn't the only company that has been forcing wokeness down employees’ necks for years, but it is one of the biggest. And a lot of them will remember that when things get better and opportunities outside Bezo’s empire become available.
